Release notes
October 2026
What you can do in SRE Agent that you could not before, as of October 2026.
Explorer CloudWatch
You can now write CloudWatch Logs Insights and metrics queries in the Explorer with expression completion, or use the new builders. Metric math and search expressions across metrics are supported.
Slack
You can now message the SRE Agent bot directly in Slack, and react with the eyes reaction to acknowledge an alert or the rotating light reaction to start an investigation. Existing workspaces re-authorize the Slack app once.
Telegram test message
You can now send a message to your linked Telegram chat from your account page to confirm it works.
Explorer LogQL
You can now write LogQL in the Explorer with completions that follow your selector and parsed fields, or use the Loki builder for parsers and metric queries.
Explorer PromQL
You can now write PromQL in the Explorer with function help and completions that narrow by the matchers you typed, or build the query with the Prometheus builder.
Explorer editor
You can now switch any Explorer tab between Builder and Code modes, and write queries in a code editor with ranked completions.
Control Tower
You can now have an urgent ticket opened for each critical finding in the Control Tower, which collects findings across your alerts and estate. Each ticket links to its alerts and investigations.
Pushover
You can now get pages through Pushover that ring through Do Not Disturb until you acknowledge, and acknowledging, resolving or muting the alert stops the repeats.
Telegram
You can now link a Telegram chat from your account page and get pages there with an Acknowledge button.
On-call app
You can now install SRE Agent as an app on your phone and get pages as push notifications with a one-tap Acknowledge.
On-call notifications
You can now choose your own notification steps with quiet hours, get shift reminders and handoff notices, and hear when an override puts you on or takes you off the schedule. Admins get a warning before a schedule runs out of people.
